Refunds and Withdrawal

Last updated 23 October 2026

1. Who sells paid plans

Pelyr is operated by Dr. Zürner GmbH (details in the Imprint). Paid plans are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle handles payment, invoices and refunds under its Buyer Terms and its Refund Policy. This page explains how you withdraw or cancel and what we do with your declaration.

How prices and VAT are shown is set out in section 9 of the API Terms. A refund includes the VAT on the refunded amount.

2. Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day it was concluded, which is the day of your first payment. For a subscription, the right of withdrawal covers the first payment, not later renewals.

You can withdraw online, without signing in, with the Withdraw from contract here link at the foot of every page of pelyr.com and dashboard.pelyr.com. You can also withdraw in Paddle’s customer portal, linked from Paddle’s emails, or by any other clear statement to Paddle or to us (section 5). Your withdrawal is in time if you send it before the withdrawal period ends.

When you use our withdrawal or cancellation function, we show you a receipt at once, which you can download, and confirm it by email without undue delay, with the content of your declaration and the date and time we received it. Please use the email address of your Pelyr account or the one you used at Paddle’s checkout, so that we can find your subscription. We also notify the other email addresses we hold for the subscription, with a link to stop the declaration if its holder did not send it. If we cannot match or verify your declaration automatically, we check it by hand; it still counts from the date and time we received it.

If you withdraw, your paid plan ends and Paddle, as merchant of record, refunds what you paid, including VAT, to your original payment method without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day your withdrawal reached us or Paddle. You owe a proportionate amount for the time before your withdrawal only if you expressly asked for your plan to start before the withdrawal period ended and were told beforehand that you would owe it; otherwise the full amount is refunded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

3. Cancelling a paid plan

You can cancel at any time, without signing in, with the Cancel contracts here link at the foot of every page of pelyr.com and dashboard.pelyr.com. If you are signed in, you can also cancel in the dashboard under Plan, which opens Paddle’s customer portal. We confirm a cancellation sent with our function as set out in section 2, and once we have found your subscription we tell you by email when your plan ends.

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period or, if you choose a later date, at the end of the billing period in which that date falls; until then your paid plan stays active. You can also cancel for good cause (extraordinary cancellation); we review it and confirm by email when your plan ends. If, despite your cancellation, a renewal is charged for a billing period that begins after your cancellation should have taken effect, that renewal payment is refunded in full via Paddle; your plan then stays active until the end of that period.

Afterwards your account continues on the Free and Map Free plans or, while they last for your account, on Legacy Free or Community access (section 9 of the API Terms). If your account is deleted while a paid plan is running, the plan ends with the account and the rest of the billing period is not refunded; cancel first if you want to use it to the end.

4. Changes or termination by us

If we change your paid plan to your disadvantage or end it for a reason not attributable to you, sections 6.4 and 8 of the API Terms say when you may cancel and what is refunded. Refunds are paid via Paddle.

5. Contact

Withdrawals, cancellations and questions about your plan or the Service: hello@pelyr.com, or by post to the address in our Imprint. Payments, invoices and refunds: Paddle, at paddle.net.
