You need a suitable AIS receiver, a VHF antenna, internet access, and stable data forwarding. Pelyr supports the connection, checks incoming data, and monitors and evaluates your contribution. No particular hardware brand is required.
Yes. Participation is non-exclusive. You can forward your AIS data to Pelyr and continue sharing the same data with other platforms.
No. Participation in the Pelyr Network and API access are independent. You can build with the APIs without operating a station, and contributing station data does not automatically provide API access.
