Existing and planned stations are welcome. No particular hardware brand is required, and you can continue sharing with other platforms.
Add your existing or planned receiver in the Pelyr dashboard. Station management and the connection setup live there.
Choose AIS-catcher, docker-shipfeeder, or request UDP access. Forward the full live AIS feed from your own receiver, including non-position messages.
Monitor your station in the dashboard. Keep your receiver and forwarding connection running reliably.
Send all AIS messages received by your own station, not just vessel positions. Add Pelyr as another output; your existing feeds can keep running. Register your station in the dashboard first, then choose the setup that matches your receiver.
01 / HTTPCreate your station and copy its AIS-catcher command from the dashboard. Add that HTTP output to your AIS-catcher setup and restart it. The command includes your station token and is shown only when issued, so save it privately.
02 / DOCKEROpen your station’s setup page and copy the providedAISCATCHER_EXTRA_OPTIONS line into the container environment. If that variable already exists, append the new options to it. Recreate the container to start forwarding to Pelyr.
Email us with your station and receiver details to request UDP access. Once enabled, select UDP when registering the station and save the one-time connection details from the dashboard. We’ll coordinate the required UDP format and setup with you.

Both are welcome. The Pelyr Network is open to private and professional operators. Add your station in the Pelyr dashboard to start the connection process.
You need a suitable AIS receiver, a VHF antenna, internet access, and stable data forwarding. Pelyr supports the connection and checks the incoming feed. No particular hardware brand is required.
Pelyr checks the incoming AIS feed and monitors your station’s connection. The messages your station receives become part of the shared maritime data.
Yes. Participation is non-exclusive. You can forward your AIS data to Pelyr and continue sharing the same data with other platforms.
No. You can build with the APIs without operating a station.
